Linking regions across Australia and the world

RegionLink is an Internet based information exchange service. Developed for Voluntary Regional Organisations of Councils, it facilitates the exchange of information and discussion on topics of regional significance.

Connections to RegionLink have been progressing steadily since the launch of the Internet site at the National General Assembly of Local Government in December 1995.

Access to RegionLink's homepage is free. There has been an increasing number of visitors to the site both from within Australia and other countries, such as the Netherlands, New Zealand, Brazil, Japan and the United States.

RegionLink welcomes the numerous other Regional groupings across Australia and around the world. It also encourages each region to link its own material and gives the opportunity for each region to develop its own web site.
