Easy way to pay

In working towards achieving a customer satisfaction benchmark, Warringah Council on Sydney's Northshore has introduced a range of payment options for all its goods and services.

This resulted from customer feedback indicating a desire for easier methods to transact Council business, particularly rate payments.

Council's 'Easy Way to Pay' aims to improve access to Council services. Providing greater flexibility and choice of options, this new system has also standardised payment methods across all Council areas removing the confusion of different methods used previously.

Warringah's Customer Service Centre now receives payments for all Council services, including rates, childcare, vacation care, recreation programs, environmental management and technical services.

Payments are accepted by credit and debit cards through an EFTPOS facility, or by cash, cheque or money order. These can be made in person, by mail, telephone or 24 hour fax.

Fully operational since June last year, customer surveys have shown that 93 percent of respondents are either satisfied or completely satisfied with the easy pay options now available.
